I’m a writer – a novelist, blogger, business writer, book reviewer – a multi-purpose scribe. My first novel, Pepperland, is currently being considered by a number of literary agents.  What’s it about?  Think the Ramones meet Jane Fonda meets Bill Gates.  I’m fiction editor of Hunger Mountain – a Journal of the Arts in Montpelier, Vermont. I’m also a professional voiceover talent—which means that I get to talk big for happy radio, TV and corporate clients.  I’m a contributing essayist for WUWM Milwaukee Public radio which is really cool.  And I’m a reviewer for the Washington Independent Review of Books. What else?  I have an MFA from the Vermont College of Fine Arts and I lead an aging rock ‘n roll band, the Outta State Plates, which means that I believe that, with a guitar in my hand, just about anything is possible.
